The Chocolate Jade – Y2K Rosette Ruffle Ball Gown

Teal and chocolate brown was the color combo of the mid-2000s, and this gown is the real deal. It’s an original quince dress from that era, never worn, with the kind of over-the-top texture you just don’t see anymore.

The strapless sweetheart bodice is gathered jade satin, outlined with bronze beads along the bust and the pointed waist. Three chocolate satin rosettes, dotted with studs, run down the center of a shimmering teal tulle midsection. Below the waist, a full overskirt is covered in hundreds of sculpted brown ribbon roses. Under that, cascading teal organza ruffles flare out with chocolate glitter tulle peeking through every layer, so the skirt moves and sparkles at the same time.
